Entry into our Early Years is based on availability of spaces and a brief settling-in session. There are no formal assessments.
We offer a free 30-minute settling visit before your child's official start date.
Entry into KS1 includes a taster day so we can welcome your child warmly and understand how best to support them.
We actively support children with additional learning needs — please speak to our SENCO during your open morning visit.
Entry into KS2 involves a taster day and a review of previous school reports. We welcome pupils mid-year where spaces permit.
Year 6 applicants are supported with 11+ preparation as part of their normal curriculum — no additional tutoring is required.
We warmly welcome applications from international families and have a dedicated support programme for children learning English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Our EAL coordinator is available for a free telephone consultation to discuss your child's transition to the school.

No. We are a non-selective prep school. We admit children based on availability of space, a short settling session, and a shared commitment to our school values — not academic ability at entry.
Yes, subject to spaces being available. We welcome mid-year applications and have supported many children in joining us successfully at various points during the academic year.
From submitting your application to receiving a decision typically takes 2–4 weeks. We endeavour to respond as quickly as possible and will keep you informed throughout.
We offer a limited number of means-tested bursaries to ensure that exceptional children are not excluded on financial grounds. Please contact the Headteacher's office in confidence to discuss eligibility.
All pupils wear the Academy Prep uniform, available from our approved supplier. Details of the uniform list and the supplier are sent upon acceptance of a place. Our uniform combines practicality with pride in belonging to our school.
School gates open at 7:30am. Lessons begin at 8:00am. Standard dismissal is at 3:30pm for Years 1–6 and 3:00pm for Nursery/Reception. An Extended Day care option is available until 5:30pm.
